Contact Lenses

Eye care technology has evolved so more people can see the benefits of great sight with contacts than ever before. Some of the benefits you can expect from today’s lenses include more convenience and comfort, as well as a greater selection of colors and flexibility of wear.

New Advances and Products

New research has led to improvements in eye health for contact lens wearers. Science has uncovered secrets about the importance of proper tears and wetting of contacts. As a result, we can solve a greater variety of visual conditions and fit more people with contacts, many who were previously unable to tolerate fulltime wear.

Our many lens options include the following:

  • Disposable contact lenses (for daily, weekly and monthly wear)
  • Gas permeable contact lenses (durable lenses with superior quality of vision)
  • Bifocal contact lenses (for both distance and near vision)
  • Toric contact lenses (used to correct astigmatism)
  • Silicone Hydrogel contact lenses (allows maximum oxygen to the cornea)
  • Colored contact lenses (to change or enhance eye color)
  • Synergeyes Hybrid Contact Lenses

Due to advances in materials, patients experience fewer eye health complications and enjoy increased safety. Most patients can adapt to comfortable soft lenses almost immediately. These products also offer part-time wear for those who enjoy — or need — some of the special features of glasses. Dr. Hall is also utlizing a new hybrid technology from SynergEyes® to offer a new option for those unable to obtain optimal correction with soft lenses. Dr. Hall is a certified  SynergEyes® practioner, meaning she is specially trained to fit this hybrid lens technology.  She also specializes in complicated medical contact lens fits for patients with irregular corneas,  keratoconus, or previous corneal transplant.

We Find the Right Option for You

The professionals at Hillcrest Vision employ the latest research about corneal health and sophisticated technology to help determine whether contact lenses are right for you — and which ones may work best. Whether you are wearing contacts for the first time or interested in changing to more advanced lenses, many options exist. With options for contacts that are ever changing, our individualized approach to meeting your eye care needs means that you will be able to take full advantage of the technology that best suits you.

The best way to discover if you are a good candidate for contacts lenses is to schedule an appointment for a complete eye health and vision assessment. If the doctor determines that you may be eligible, you’ll proceed with a contact lens fitting, which involves additional testing, individualized patient education and follow-up visits. After this phase is completed, you will receive a final prescription.
